This wasn’t the image I was planning on drawing today; I initially had a much more challenging photo picked out, but I’ve had a headache all day and decided to save myself some aggravation by drawing something a bit easier. While the previous two studies I did involved a whole lot of erasing, redrawing, gnashing of teeth, scanning and flipping horizontally, finding huge mistakes, erasing and redrawing again, gnashing more teeth… this time I think I really nailed it on the first try. It’s encouraging to feel some improvement, especially considering that’s what these photo studies are all about.
