I’m still trying to get into Story of Seasons. But it just feels so utterly unbalanced, even on easy mode. You unlock tonnes of things right away, but everything is so expensive and it seems you receive a pittance for what you sell, even when selling at higher prices. And with no real overarching plot, the game feels even more tedious and frustrating than most other Harvest Moon games I’ve played. I feel determined to like it, but so far that’s not happening. Fall of year 1 and I’m ready to drop it and go replay More Friends of Mineral Town instead.
