Chapter: Chapter 3: The Shrike
This is the part where you run away, Andrea.
Two points that might be confusing people about now if you don’t have the archives memorised:
1: What’s the significance of that tattoo? That can be found in the prologue.
2: How did Kira know all about Andrea’s quest? Mathias mentioned a leak of information back in Chapter 1.
Run Andrea, no time for a flashback, dammit!!!
Is that scarring or Kira’s wrist? And hey why did he even bother saying… If he was going to be effective in his task, wouldn’t it be easier for him to just stay quiet? I didn’t take Kira to be one of the open types….
Hehe what’re you planning Lee? : D
And I love Andrea’s expression in the first panel.
He’s not an open type, but writing it this way builds more dramatic effect. ;D
And yes, those are scars on his wrists.
Hmmm… So a guy who pops up who’s from a neutral land, has scars on his wrists, suggesting he’s been held captive/tortured… Ooooh I want to know what happens and what happened! Eeee!
He’s not neutral- he’s a Veslian. He just got his t’akirou from Tsuvola. Since they border Veslin’s Empire, the Veslians often buy them as war mounts. 😉
Dammit, but I think he’s cool! Grrr…. Oh well, he’ll have to go under the list of bad guys I think are cool. Hehe, Sephiroth. I don’t normally like bad guys. Well then. RUN ANDREA HE’S GONNA KILL YA!!! Meeeh too mush suspense I can’t take it!!
Kiiiiraaaaa, you just screwed up your chance to go on a world-saving adventure and win the favor of the fair princess D:
I can’t believe no-one guessed he might be a Veslian. I didn’t think I hid it that well. X3
Well, he DID debut by punching the annoying guy in the face, which can easily be seen as “friendly enough not to be Veslian”.
Not to mention the part where character designs for fantasy settings have gotten pretty ambiguous. (By that I mean the design isn’t enough to definitely say what alignment the character is. Just look at D.N.Angel, the black-winged phantom thief is the good guy, and the white-winged “angel” is presented as a total dirtbag.)
But the silver-haired characters in animes are so often the villains! I can hardly think of an anime that doesn’t have at least one silver-haired villain.
Well, okay, Eryl has plenty of good mages, too and they all have silver hair, but we’ll just ignore them…
Hm, there seems to a problem with scripts on your page for Firefox:
It says twice, that a script has stopped or isn’t responding:
Hmmm, I’ll look into it. I don’t use Firefox anymore because I was having a lot of trouble with it. Site works fine in every other browser (that I know of). PS- I took the links out of your comment just in case they caused trouble for anyone else using firefox who clicked on them.
I’ll try to fix this but honestly, I’m not sure I can. I’m not too web-savvy.
