You may have noticed a bunch of arachnid-ly inclined stuff appearing on FL Studios over the past couple of days, and that’s because now
That’s right! SpiderForest’s latest application season just came to an end, and Ashes has joined the ranks of its members! I am honoured and humbled that my comic is now listed alongside the insane amount of talent showcased in the SpiderForest community. I highly recommend you guys browse around and read some of the other comics on there, because I sure have over the last week and wow. These guys make some seriously amazing stuff. As a member of this Spiderverse, I’ll have some new obligations to contribute my time to supporting its community, which I am happy to do. What does this mean for you, my readers? Well, not much, actually! Except that my site now has links to a tonne of other fantastic comics for you to check out.
After years of playing second fiddle to Eryl, Children of Shadow is also going to become my primary focus (which is something I was planning to do, anyway) until its completion. It’s a much shorter story and doesn’t take nearly as long to create, so it’s actually a bit odd that I kept putting it on the back-burner for so many years – but no more! Eryl will still update, don’t worry, but it may rotate into hiatus now and then so I don’t get burnt out. I also might have some big Eryl news to share sometime soon(ish), so keep your eyes peeled for that, too! It’s good news. Pinky swear.
Yay! Congrats for joining them. Good luck with the eternal juggling. I love seeing your varied output :D.
Thank you! I’m really excited about joining. 😀 Haha, yes, the eternal juggling. I’ve made some changes to my workflow that have made getting pages done a lot easier, so things (should) start moving along at a much better pace. I’m getting close to the halfway point in Ashes, so I’m super motivated to keep it moving forward. 🙂
