Zen Art

As promised, here are some of the loose, zen paintings I’ve been doing the past few days. They’re terrible and yet I love them and am happier doing them than comics right now.

“They’re terrible…” Lee, do I have to smack you? These are wonderful, every single one of them! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the tree, but all of them are amazing. Even if the technical skill in each isn’t up to your standard, I think I might like these better than your more polished artwork. (It’s my curse, too, to produce my best work when I’m just doodling and letting my mind wander.)
(Geahhh. I thought I sent this comment DAYS ago.)
Thank you, Spork, you are far too nice to me! Actually, it seems a lot of people like my looser art better. I think it has more expression and energy than when I tighten up. Oh the curse of being an OCD artist! I always want insane detail and perfection in my pieces and I lose sight of the fact that taking longer doesn’t necessarily make better art.
I agree with Sporkitude, I think they’re awesome! ^_^ I love the tarantula because it looks like it could distracting its prey with its adorable cuteness.
Thank you, I’m glad you like them!
